How it works:  We'll consult with you to select the right combination of wines so that on the day your guests are moved to discover something interesting, whether they are seasoned drinkers or newcomers to wine. A session is usually 2 hours and can be held at your venue or home in the Greater Auckland region, we'll bring the tasting glasses and music gear, so you can sit back and be entertained by the ebb and flow of wine talk and smooth jazz.

We won't try and sell you wine... but if you like what you taste we can tell you where to buy it. 
Adam Wirdahl is a Swedish sommelier who is a passionate lover of all things restaurant: food, beverages, service, music, design and ambience. He has a special interest in natural, biodynamic and organic wines from all over the world. Outside New Zealand, his favourite wine regions are Burgundy, Piedmont and California.

Adam has over 25 years of experience working at restaurants. He was also part of the teaching team at his former sommelier school Vinkallan – Scandinavian Wine Academy, while running his own business hosting wine tastings as well as lecturing at a municipal adult school. Continuing his studies, Adam has completed the more internationally known “WSET level 3 award in wines – Advanced”, an exam he “passed with distinction”, the highest grade of achievement.

​Music: Adam is a lover of old school soul, R&B & hip-hop and also adores Herb Alpert's Second Wind-album.

Chris Melville is a classic jazz and soul singer who cites Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Ella Fitzgerald as his major influences. With his warm, velvet vocal delivery he sings classic jazz songs from an era of style and sophistication, an ideal accompaniment to wine tastings and a wonderful soundscape for any event.

With 23 years of performance experience at weddings, corporate functions and cocktail parties, Chris has performed for a stellar client list worldwide and provides versatile musical solutions in any event environment.

Wine: Chris loves a well balanced Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but can be swayed with a smooth Merlot or a raunchy Zinfandel.
