Adam and Chris managed to create this kind of alchemy and atmosphere allowing everyone to feel relaxed and in great company.  The evening struck a good balance between entertainment and education. I was impressed with how Adam and Chris managed the diversity of our group, which included overseas visitors. People were interested, laughing and enjoying the tasting while Chris’s velvet vocals filled the room. Chris certainly knows how to entertain a group of people and is New Zealand’s own homegrown Michael Buble. I cannot speak highly enough of Adam- who was engaging, knowledgeable, enthusiastic & is obviously very passionate about his subject matter. It was a great experience to start the evening off. I would definitely consider Sample Sessions in the future and recommend Sample Sessions to either friends or corporates looking for a special and unique entertainment offering.“

"We thoroughly enjoyed a really unique night with Chris Melville and Adam Wirdahl, they introduced us to some wonderful wines and great jazz music. Adam is incredibly knowledgeable as a sommelier and we learnt all about flavours, styles, regions and what makes a good wine good, while enjoying Chris's amazing talent as a jazz singer.  Chris was singing as we all arrived, and also between the sampling sessions which created a fabulous ambience to enjoy the wines we had just learnt about. A wonderful way to help people mix and mingle, a great party starter and a fabulous way to get into party mode."
